What is CISP?
The Intellect Critical Incident Support Plan (CISP) provides comprehensive support to employees across the organisation to address and manage traumatic and distressing experiences in the workplace. The goal is to help the employees effectively process the critical incident healthily and return to normal operations as soon as possible.
Here are some examples of critical incidents in the workplace:
- Co-worker passed away
- Retrenchment
- Physical assaults
- Sexual harassment
- Workplace accidents
- Natural disasters (e.g.: tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.)
- Shootings

In the event of a critical incident, managers can submit a support request via calling the Crisis Helpline or sending an email to ciu@intellect.co directly. Intellect will get in touch to provide appropriate support to the team, which can include:
What Is The Difference Between CISP And Crisis Helpline?
The Critical Incident Support Plan (CISP) is designed to provide comprehensive and structured support to employees who have experienced traumatic or distressing events in the workplace. The CISP team arranges counselling services, debriefing sessions, and access to mental health resources to help employees cope with and recover from critical incidents.

Please submit the CISP Request via ciu@intellect.co. Requests done by Managers / HR only.
